Quick start · A clear path from first sound to exam practice
- Learn: tap a character and recognise its sound. Start with K and M.
- Koch trainer: copy short groups. Reach 90% accuracy before adding a character.
- Nepal exam: copy 25 groups once, review your answer, and compare your corrections.
Use headphones at a comfortable volume. Exam audio has its own fixed timing; the speed controls apply to the learning tools.

How to learn
Four habits that make CW stick
Learn by sound
Memorise the rhythm of each character — “di-dah” for A — rather than counting dots and dashes.
Use Farnsworth timing
Send characters at 18–25 WPM with extra space between them, then shrink the gaps as you improve.
Follow the Koch method
Start with two characters at full speed and add one each time you copy 90% correctly.
Practise little and often
Ten to fifteen minutes a day beats one long session a week.
