HAM 101 — Nepal Ham Radio Community Hour
About this event
📻 Introducing HAM 101 — Nepal Ham Radio Community Hour! 🇳🇵 Have questions about your radio, antennas, or operating techniques? Working on an interesting project? Made a memorable contact this week? Or simply want to catch up with fellow hams? We're starting HAM 101, a friendly, informal weekly gathering for Nepal's amateur radio community to connect, share experiences, discuss projects, ask questions, and learn from one another. 🗓️ Every Friday 🕢 7:45 PM – 8:45 PM Nepal Time 📡 What will we do during HAM 101? 🔹 Weekly Member Updates: Every member gets a chance to share what they've been doing in amateur radio that week—new equipment, antenna projects, contacts made, experiments, achievements, or anything interesting they'd like to talk about. 🔹 Open Discussion: Talk about your interests, ideas, experiences, and challenges. Find out what other members are working on and exchange knowledge. 🔹 Ask an Elmer: Have a question about your radio, antenna, SWR, propagation, digital modes, repeaters, or anything else related to amateur radio? Bring it along! We'll try to figure it out together. 🔹 What's New in Ham Radio?: Share interesting news, upcoming contests, events, propagation updates, new tools, and activities from Nepal and around the world. 🔹 Learn Something New: Each week, we can explore a practical topic, demonstrate something interesting, or discuss a subject suggested by the members. 🔹 Community Help: Stuck with a setup? Need advice before buying equipment? Want to try something new but don't know where to start? This is the place to ask. 🗣️ Everyone is encouraged to participate! HAM 101 isn't a formal lecture or a class where you just sit and listen. It's a community conversation where everyone gets a chance to speak, share updates, ask questions, and contribute. You don't have to be an expert, and no question is too basic. Whether you're a newly licensed ham, an experienced operator, or someone just getting started, your participation matters. Let's make this a regular opportunity to stay connected, celebrate our progress, help each other overcome challenges, and grow Nepal's amateur radio community together. 📅 When: Every Friday ⏰ Time: 7:45 PM – 8:45 PM NPT Meeting Link: : https://meet.google.com/xwd-pgba-ztb HAM 101 — Share, Learn, and Grow Together on the Air! 📡🇳🇵 Looking forward to hearing everyone's updates and ideas.
